   Features: Self contained Rohloff SPEEDHUB 14-speed internally geared hub with belt drive sprocket and efficient SON28 dynamo hub built onto tough and durable rims for every day riding.

   Rims: Velocity Dyad, 32 hole polished silver
   Front hub: Schmidt SON28 dynamo polished silver
   Rear hub: Rohloff SPEEDHUB 500/14, 32 hole polished silver

   Lacing: 3x front // 2x rear

  1. less than 175 lbs? why?

    I have a SON 28 with 28H DeepVs, been reliable since 2007, I weigh 270. Maybe people just need to do a better job avoiding potholes, I dunno.

  2. Mainly due to the use of the thin Laser spokes. The recommend weight is a little conservative, but the wheels start to feel a little soft under heavier riders with these spokes. With thicker spokes, the same wheels would work fine for a much heavier rider.
